The Lloyds Bank British Business Excellence Awards is a place to celebrate the resilience, innovation and creativity of the UK’s business community. Attracting an enormous variety of organisations and business people, from disruptive start-ups and inventive entrepreneurs to ready-to-scale businesses, established SMEs and FTSE 100 powerhouses, making it the largest and most comprehensive business awards programme in the United Kingdom.

Foundervine was nominated for the Diversity Champion of the Year award alongside some of the fantastic businesses in the UK championing inclusion and diversity. We are pleased to announce we were named the Diversity Champion of the Year with the award presented by Sir Trevor McDonald OBE to Cecil Adjalo, Indie Gordon and Josh Solomon who were there representing our team.

Diversity Champions are important to UK businesses because they role model inclusion. They are the people taking action to ensure inclusion and diversity objectives are achieved: they are making inclusion an everyday reality. Judges were looking for both internal and external campaigns, recruitment practices, internal strategies, and individuals and groups who champion diversity in business. Judges were also looking for evidence of how this is embedded in the overall business strategy and aligned with any commercial objectives.

We are thankful for the recognition by the judges and also want to congratulate our fellow finalists in this category who are champions in this space and all other finalists and winners on the night.
