Foundervine started in 2018 as a small group of founders that shared a passion for entrepreneurship and technology. This community has become an important place for founders to connect, learn, grow, and collaborate with each other.
As such, we wanted to introduce you to members of our team so you can get to know who we are, what we do, and how we can help you on your journey.
So what’s your name and what’s your role at Foundervine?
Hi! I am Belinda Bentil but most people call me by my initials, BB. I work as a PMO Manager at Foundervine and I am based in Ghana.
Why did you join Foundervine?
For many reasons, but largely due to my interest in impact work and entrepreneurship. As I followed the journey, I was intrigued by Foundervine’s work and the problem it is trying to solve. When the opportunity came to be a part of the story, I didn’t hesitate to take the necessary steps to join.
When you are not with Foundervine, what do you do?
Away from Foundervine, I contribute to programs and projects that solve real-life problems and make people’s lives better. I support entrepreneurs to turn their ideas into profitable businesses and help founders build their companies.
I also spend my weekends contributing to other community initiatives (accelerator programs) to help under-served people in tech, learn and grow in their professions.
Any side hustles? What are the key things you want the Foundervine Community to know about you?
As one with an entrepreneurial spirit, I always find myself providing business management, communications, and marketing support to the businesses of family and friends.
I am also a co-founder of a women’s clothing and apparel retail store.
In my leisure time, I enjoy being active — I recently tried yoga and hiking on the outskirts of town.
What’s your plan for the next 5 years?
Hhmph! Honestly, I want to be able to look back 5 years from now and say that I have made an outstanding impact on people’s lives and my community. I live by a mantra of becoming more than I was yesterday and I am convinced that my vision will take shape in different forms. Dido has a song titled “Life for Rent”, which resonates with me deeply and I am committed to making intentional decisions and taking the necessary actions to make my life fulfilling.
