Foundervine started in 2018 as a small group of founders that shared a passion for entrepreneurship and technology. This community has become an important place for founders to connect, learn, grow, and collaborate with each other.

As such, we wanted to introduce you to members of our team so you can get to know who we are, what we do, and how we can help you on your journey.

So what’s your name and what’s your role at Foundervine?

Hi there! I’m Elikem Kofi Annan-Wuaku and I am a Programme Manager at Foundervine based in Accra, Ghana 🇬🇭.

Why did you join Foundervine?

I was immensely impressed with the work Foundervine had done when I was researching the organisation and to be a part of a team providing such impactful programmes was something I could not let pass me by. The mission of Foundervine, to support entrepreneurs, especially under-served ones with the right access, tools, and training needed to build, grow, and scale up in the tech ecosystem, resonated with my beliefs and aspirations. The more reason for me to jump on this train and join this magical journey! ✨

When you are not with Foundervine, what do you do?

I have an insatiable passion for music, dance, and theatre so you’ll find me in a music bubble where I transform into a different personality and have a GREAT time (you would be surprised when you encounter that person ). I also really enjoy engaging in physical activities; mainly hiking, running, cycling, and interpretive dance. I recently developed a strong interest in cooking so I like to try out new recipes from different cuisines — I make quite the tasty meatloaf!

Any side hustles? What are the key things you want the Foundervine Community to know about you?

A world where equality and equity reigns are extremely dear to my ethos thus, I find myself advocating for the voiceless and pushing against all forms of hate and discrimination in every space. I use my most precious tool, my voice, to advocate for marginalised groups, like the LGBTQIA+ 🏳️‍🌈 community and more, the best way I can. 🤟🏾

What’s your plan for the next 5 years?

To be honest, I don’t believe in 5-year plans lol. Some people think that makes me crazy or not focused but I beg to differ. So, let’s see what the next 5 years hold in store for me.
