Foundervine started in 2018 as a small group of founders that shared a passion for entrepreneurship and technology. This community has become an important place for founders to connect, learn, grow, and collaborate with each other.

As such, we wanted to introduce you to members of our team so you can get to know who we are, what we do, and how we can help you on your journey.

So what’s your name and what’s your role at Foundervine?

Hey, my name is Joanita, mostly called Jay. I joined the team as an Executive Assistant within the Operations Team ☺️.

What caused you to join?

I love what Foundervine stands for and represents. I have always been passionate about influencing lives specifically in the area of Entrepreneurship. Finding an organisation focused on developing, positioning, and connecting Entrepreneurs the way Foundervine does is hard to come by. I just knew this was where I needed to be to make the impact I have so longed for.

When you are not with Foundervine, what do you do?

When not at Foundervine, I guess catching up on sleep, lol, or at the pool or church. But I love to have time alone with my jazz music, meditate and visualise my goals.

Any side hustles? What are the key things you want the Foundervine Community to know about you?

I work with a few brands as their ambassadors (Unilever, Etransact, Afrikwears,). Passionate about people development, I started a skills acquisition program on Instagram to train young people on basic entrepreneurial skills. The “Let's talk practical series”. I do public
speaking at educational events. Aside from that, I have an African print clothing shop for ladies.

Things to know about me

I am fun and outgoing. I love to make new friends and learn new things. Even though I am curious and adventurous, I am also very risk-averse.

What’s your plan for the next 5 years?

Take over the world, lol. But I do hope to be a Role model to many young ladies in Ghana, Africa, and the world at large. Especially in the area of Entrepreneurship and skills development. In the next 5 years,
I have the vision of training and Empowering 50,000 youth.
